Hypnic Jerks (2018) is the third full-length album by Philadelphia-based psych-rock band Spirit of the Beehive, released on Tiny Engines. The album, titled after the involuntary muscle spasms experienced while drifting off to sleep, mirrors this sensation through a "drowsy-yet-restless" mix of dreamy psych-pop, warped synths, post-punk, and eerie audio samples
